Laikamorí is a US-based Peruvian duo, they have been active since 2014, exploring an ethereal blend of dream pop, post-punk, and experimental electronic music. They are focused on provoking an immersive experience in their audience combining atmospheric melodies, synthesized vocals, and using masks, visuals, and anonymity.  In April 2023, Laikamorí released their second LP which showcased a shift towards a darker, post-punk sonic landscape.

In April 2018, they released their second album “Persona” The album was well-received within the Peruvian underground music scene and was ranked as one of the best albums of the year by the press. It was produced by Mario Silvania, from the acclaimed shoegaze band from the nineties, “Silvania”. The band’s first EP “°°°°°°°” was released in August 2014 it had an outstanding acceptance as well as praising reviews by the local and international music press.

Laikamorí has supported international artists such as Future Islands, Drab Majesty, Moderat, CocoRosie, Molly Nilsson, Mika Vainio, etc. Moreover, the duo has played in festivals such as Autoplacer in Madrid, Keroxen in Canarian Islands, Neutral in Santiago de Chile, SIM in Sao Paulo, and shows in Germany and Poland. The duo has been featured in musical blogs such as Post-punk.com, Cvlt Nation, Indie Rocks, Remezcla, Noisey, and Soundrive, among others.
